Have you looked into static site generators like Hugo and Jekyll? I’ve found Hugo to be very easy to maintain. Here’s a link to a great tutorial on setting up your own (free!) site with Hugo and GitLab. I’d be happy to help out as well.

That video starts in the middle. I have a gitlab account, but have never used it. The presenter didn’t say how and where to download and install Hugo, and looking for it in gitlab means looking at a lot of search results.
